I was quite dissapointed earlier this week when I went to the cupboard for my nearly daily piece of toast with chocolate spread or nutella on, and there, in all it's white and yellow glory sat a jar of MORRISONS VALUE CHOCOLATE SPREAD!!!!!

As you can guess, I was not pleased. You see, i'm a bit of a chocolate spread-oholic and discovering this saddened me... ALOT
Normally we don't get full on ACTUAL nutella in my house, but there is one that is soooo nice which has bits of nuts in it- YUM!!!!! Cadbury's chocolate spread is pretty good too. Well, anything is compared to MORRISONS VALUE! My plan to overcome this is to eat it as quickly as possible, which is not hard seeing as I normally have more spread than bread anyway, but when it doesn't taste as good it goes down slower don't you think?
Even if it is still slightly cold, it makes me look forward to summer! I purchased some floral sunglasses the other day from Primark- £1! right bargain- they make any outfit look a bit more seasonal!

The only bad bit about summer is the first day you wear shorts, before you have been on holiday... PALE ALERT! I'm not really one for a fake tan, I don't think it would suit me.. but as soon as there's a slight colour to your legs it's fiiine:) Last year I went on holiday at easter, so I was already tanned for the good weather in May when I got back.. this year I'm not going on holiday til July so I'll be missing out on the pre-tan.
I'm quite liking the coral coloured shorts, or maybe even go for some floral ones? They're so versatile cos in summer they can be worn by themselves with a top, and dressed up with heels etc. and in winter they can be worn with tights and brogue shoes or boots, so they are at the top of my list of things to buy right now! IzzBellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08552557457082011156noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6891347375732752833.post-73120060734728101152011-02-27T12:08:00.000+00:002011-02-27T12:08:28.579+00:00DreamClouds
I haven't posted in a while, and the last one was really lame.. well i am still doing that project. I also still have the rest of that story to write.. for this week. It's been half term this week but it hasn't felt like much of a holiday. Kinda boring actually, with a few highlights.

I haven't been able to sleep very well recently, it's probably my messed up sleeping pattern or something but don't you think it's strange how people have ways they make themselves fall asleep? It sounds weird but if you think about it it's true. For example, I couldn't sleep the other day so I just thought of this corridor, with loads of doors that kept on going and going and then I fell asleep. Something else I do is think of a journey of walking into town or to someone's house, and by the time I get there I'm asleep. Everyone will think I'm a right wierdo now won't they? But it's just like the whole counting sheep thing, except I find counting sheep is boring.

Oooh I will post soon about my dress I have made I think, goodbye.IzzBellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08552557457082011156noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6891347375732752833.post-47875426042804240262011-02-10T22:19:00.000+00:002011-02-10T22:19:25.402+00:00

I was thinking of doing natural structures like of a pomegranate and take some really good close up photos on macro and print out big and do some etching, sketching, watercolour, ink, pastel and just as many studies of it as possible really to fill my blank sketchbook.

Then I realised we had to choose a particular artist... and i was completely stuck. I searched for still lifem but they were all the usual fruit bowls and apples and oranges. In the end I chose Gauguin, who's a master painter, but I really like his oranges. I wanted something a bit more contemporary and modern though so I'll keep my eyes open. Any ideas?
To all the millions of New York City dwellers it was just another blustery evening but for the four in the Phillies Diner, it was not. The diner, once a popular diner in an affluent part of the city, now stood alone with the dust on the plastic tabletops reflecting the bright glaring lights into the gloom of the city. Tonight, the diner was almost empty. Little did the lonely man sitting in the shadowy corner know what the well dressed couple at the bar had done earlier that evening. He wasn’t paying attention. He had had a tough day at work. He had almost been fired, and his recent divorce from his wife still rankled. He ordered a Jack Daniels from the balding barman and looked at his old, battered watch. It was almost midnight but he, Erik Bridge had nowhere else to go.
<span style="font-family: "Calibri", "sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;">Looking over to the bar, he noticed the well dressed couple. The young man had his grey hat rather far down his forehead, covering his eyes. His jaw was set in a straight line. He was wearing a crisp navy suit that looked freshly ironed, and an expensive looking gold watch. On closer inspection however, he had a single bead of sweat trickling down his long hooked nose. He looked serious, as though he was carrying the world’s weight on his shoulders. The woman who he supposed was his girlfriend was elegantly dressed in a ruby red silk dress with a row of shimmering pearls perched delicately around her neck. She had fiery red hair with a heavily made up face but her full red lips were set into an unhappy pout.
I have listened to his work, and it sounds good. I'll have to get him to give me a link or something. It seems like I'm surrounded by many talented people, but I suppose I am if you think about it. All going to get far in life I think.
No socks again today, so I was very cold again. BUT IT'S FRIDAY TOMORROW, not that have any good plans, and I have loads of work over the weekend, but it's still friday! IzzBellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08552557457082011156noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6891347375732752833.post-14673657104150506212011-01-26T21:34:00.000+00:002011-01-26T21:34:25.143+00:00I MADE MYSELF A HOMEWORK TIMETABLE. How nerdy, it helped for like the first few days and then didnt. I'm so confused right now about everything. MY mind is a total flurry of random un processed thoughts. Sometimes about music and then work and then my friends- I can't remember anything, there's too much to do and too little time. If only I could slow it down and make it move at my pace.

Some of my friends have a band, called Wildefire (i think that's how you spell it) and i'm quite looking forward to seeing their first gig, it should be fun! It's at church but you have to start small right? And then they've got a couple more gigs lined up too.
Weather still has not improved. I couldnt find any black socks this morning so I had to wear no socks to school and I was FREEEZING. Nice chill up my trousers. NOT. IzzBellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08552557457082011156noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6891347375732752833.post-47707724644451956482011-01-05T20:32:00.000+00:002011-01-05T20:32:51.130+00:00The Temper Trap - Soldier OnIzzBellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08552557457082011156noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6891347375732752833.post-5518288321084811912011-01-05T20:31:00.000+00:002011-01-05T20:31:41.726+00:00I got Conditions by The Temper Trap for christmas, and it is the most beautiful thing i have heard in a while! When i first heard Sweet Disposition on 500 Days Of Summer, I just had to know who they were, and now I finally have their cd! The band are from Melbourne in Australia, and the lead singers voice, Madangi, is so unique and different to anythign else I have heard. My absolute favourite song is Sweet Dispostion of course, but I do love all their songs, so listen to them guys!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxKjOOR9sPU, this link is for Sweet DispositionIzzBellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08552557457082011156noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6891347375732752833.post-55227194642476761892011-01-05T19:58:00.000+00:002011-01-05T19:58:49.434+00:00So now it's new year, full of wonder and exciting new year's resolutions which will be kept for about two weeks before being forgotten about until next year, which is 2012! The year in which some people say the world will end for some reason. Today has been the rainiest day ever! I'm just used to all the snow and ice I guess, but the bleak winter landscape is really starting to show. The constant drizzle and grey skies will stick around until at least april! So I'd better get used to it. I think the first day that I see a ray of sunshine will be the best as lazy summer will be on it's wayy. We started back at school today aswell, and i'm not glad to be back cos from now on its constant revision and finishing coursework until may or june, URRGGGHHH!!!!!! I bet all the teachers did nothing over the christmas holidays apart from see their families, eat and watch christmas movies like the rest of us, but they also expect us to do work between all this? It's rediculous, they should give us work when we're at school, and none while we're on holiday IzzBellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08552557457082011156noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6891347375732752833.post-35122318717316026832010-12-16T20:26:00.000+00:002010-12-16T20:26:44.751+00:00Non-uniform!So today was non uniform day at school, and as it's an all girls school, everyone tries to outdress eachother..quite funny really. The first thing I noticed on my way to school was the number of people wearing 'gilets' in all styles and colours, so I said to my friend that we should count them and by the end of the day we had got to about 30 before we lost count! It was like Michelin Man land, seriously. I like gilets, they're warm and some people really suit them, but today I definitely thought they were overworn along with green trousers and military boots. EVERYBODY owns them! And I thought military boots were for the army and 'rebellious' type people? What happened to good old jeans, a top and sneakers too? I mean I like fashion and that, but a lot of people go way too far to look 'different' to everybody else simply resulting in everybody looking very similar again.

So instead of wearing the new thing you bought in town last weekend because all your friends have it, wear the first thing you see, and that's the key to look 'different', believe me. IzzBellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08552557457082011156noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6891347375732752833.post-70265622955052836252010-12-15T19:38:00.000+00:002010-12-15T19:38:53.444+00:00First of all...So I'm new to all this blogging business and I was wondering what I should write about. So I thought of all my interests; fashion? no, it's too picky. Music&bands? no, it's too complicated. School? no, it's too boring. So then I had an idea.. why not just do it on things that catch my eye, things that have been going on near where I live or what my friends have been up to? Not many people would find it interesting unless I knew them, but that's the whole point, start off local and then grow..right? Well I'll try it anyway and see how it goes. IzzBellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08552557457082011156noreply@blogger.com0
